With over 100,000 attendees, five blocks of book vendors, and more than 200 author presentations, the festival transformed downtown Chicago into a vibrant celebration of storytelling, creativity, and community. Spotlight Moment: Kathleen Olson Book Signing One of the standout highlights from our booth was the book signing with guest author Kathleen Olson, whose heartfelt storytelling and warm presence drew readers from across the city. Fans lined up to meet her, share their appreciation, and walk away with signed copies and meaningful conversations. Her appearance added a personal and emotional touch to our weekend presence, reinforcing the power of author-reader connection. EC Publishing LLC at Frankfurter Buchmesse 2024 October 16-20, 2024 Messe Frankfurt in Frankfurt, Germany EC Publishing LLC at Frankfurter Buchmesse 2024 Atmosphere & Scale The 76th Frankfurter Buchmesse welcomed 230,000 visitors, hosted over 4,300 exhibitors, and featured more than 3,300 events across five days. Messe Frankfurt transformed into a global hub of ideas, rights trading, and literary celebration. The energy was electric—equal parts business and cultural exchange. EC Publishing’s Showcase EC Publishing LLC proudly joined the international lineup, presenting a curated selection of titles from authors who entrusted us with both their publishing journey and marketing campaigns. Our booth became a space for meaningful dialogue, visual storytelling, and cross-cultural engagement. Featured Titles: Children’s literature, memoirs, and spiritual reflections Audience Response: Warm, curious, and deeply engaged Industry Interest: Rights inquiries, media coverage, and collaborative discussions Key Moments LitAg & PRC Buzz: The Literary Agents & Scouts Centre and Publishers Rights Centre were at full capacity, with over 593 tables and 38,000 visitors engaging in rights deals. Creative Crossovers: The fair’s growing connection to the film and gaming industries opened new doors for multimedia storytelling—an exciting space for our authors and future campaigns. Youth Engagement: A surge in young readers and creators brought fresh energy to the halls. Their enthusiasm reaffirmed the importance of inclusive, emotionally resonant publishing. EC Publishing LLC Celebrates Storytelling at the 2024 Busan International Children’s Book Fair From November 28 to December 1, 2024, EC Publishing LLC proudly joined the inaugural Busan International Children’s Book Fair (BICBF) at BEXCO Exhibition Center 1, Hall 2 in Busan, South Korea. With over 193 publishing companies from 16 countries and more than 150 programs including author signings, panel discussions, and creative workshops, the fair was a vibrant celebration of imagination and connection. A Space for Stories That Matter Our team brought a curated selection of children’s books from authors who trusted EC Publishing not only to publish their work, but to help shape meaningful marketing campaigns that reflect the heart of their stories. From picture books to early readers, each title invited children—and adults—to explore themes of empathy, courage, and creativity. Visitors of all ages stopped by our booth to browse, read, and connect. Many shared how refreshing it was to see books that weren’t just wrapped in plastic, but open and ready to be discovered. The response was genuine and enthusiastic, with readers expressing interest in our authors’ journeys and the values behind their work. A Fair That Embraced Everyone BICBF’s theme, inspired by “Laputa” from Gulliver’s Travels, created a space of “unlimited hope and imagination.” It was more than fitting. The fair welcomed not only children, but adults who found joy and meaning in the pages of children’s literature. As one visitor shared, “Children’s books help us understand emotions—they’re not just for kids.” Looking Forward Participating in BICBF was a meaningful experience for EC Publishing LLC. It reminded us that stories—especially those written for young readers—have the power to build bridges across cultures and generations.
