Dr. Darrell Tolbert is a powerful voice of transformation, redemption, and radical forgiveness. Born in Ocala, Florida, he overcame a troubled past—including time in prison—to become a minister, motivational speaker, and author. His journey from street life to spiritual leadership is nothing short of extraordinary.
A U.S. Army veteran and graduate of Forest High School, Dr. Tolbert holds multiple degrees including a Doctorate in Divinity, Theology, and Christian Living. He is also a licensed chaplain and certified pet grief counselor.
His book, I Forgave the Two Men I Vowed to Kill, is a deeply personal and scripturally grounded reflection on the power of forgiveness. Inspired by passages like Matthew 18:21–22 and Matthew 6:14–15, the book explores the emotional and spiritual challenge of forgiving those who have caused deep pain—even when that pain feels justified.
